“Why You’re Not Winning”
Using my 40 year career in Sales, Business Development, Coaching in business and sports, I have studied and learned why people and businesses fail. I must admit that I am a disciple of the late and great Dale Carnegie- the art of selling, Vince Lombardi — football legend, Angelo Dundee-boxing trainer of Muhammad Ali, and L. Ron Hubbard-Dianetics.
The one thing that is consistent with these legends is that they all preached discipline, structure, concentration, goals, and self-belief. To this day, I still go back and read Carnegie’s The Golden Book-How to win friends and influence people-How to stop worrying and start living, Lombardi won wherever he went from Green Bay to the Washington Red Skins, Dundee would not let the then Cassius Clay quit when blinded by a substance in his first fight with Sonny Liston, Hubbard stressed that to have a purposeful life and to achieve success, you must clear all that have held you back. Having the will to win to persevere is the most critical aspect of winning!
People fail when they have no self-discipline, lack of direction, unmotivated, and UN-realistic goals. Businesses fail when they have a flawed business plan, Unrealistic-goals, not consulting the right people in their line of business, and inadequate cash flow.
